Community-based mental health service providers are an important part of Veterans Affairs Canada’s (VAC) mental health strategy. Psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and clinical care managers help Veterans with mental health issues deal with their symptoms and improve their quality of life. Providers work with VAC staff to ensure clients receive quality services.

If you are a mental health professional and would like to become a VAC provider, this section will provide you with information on the VAC service delivery and case management process, useful links and downloads. Providers who wish to offer services to VAC clients are required to register with and are paid by Medavie Blue Cross.
